Prevena Incision Management (Wound VAC)

What is Prevena?

Prevena is KCI's negative pressure incision management system, used over closed surgical incisions. Each system pairs a dressing with a small, single-use negative pressure therapy unit. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for use for application and duration.

Choosing a system

• Peel & Place dressings (PRE1155US 13cm, PRE1055US 20cm): replacement dressings in common incision lengths.
• Peel & Place system kits (PRE1101US 13cm, PRE1001US 20cm): a dressing packaged with a therapy unit.
• Plus customizable dressing (PRE4001US): a dressing that can be sized to the incision.
• Plus Duo kit (PRE3021US): a kit designed to manage two incisions with one therapy unit.

Choose by incision length and whether you need a complete kit or replacement dressings.

Ordering tips

Kits include the therapy unit, so they are the right choice for new patients, while dressings alone are used for replacement. Orthopedic, cardiac and OB programs often stock both 13cm and 20cm lengths. Search the reference number to check current availability, and contact our team to set up recurring orders.
