Aquamantys Bipolar Sealers

What is Aquamantys?

Aquamantys is Medtronic's line of saline-enhanced bipolar sealers. The devices deliver radiofrequency energy with saline, a technology Medtronic calls Transcollation, for hemostatic sealing of soft tissue and bone. The sealers are used with a compatible Medtronic generator; always follow the manufacturer's instructions for use.

Choosing a sealer

• 6.0 (23-112-1) and 2.3 (23-113-1): bipolar sealers commonly used in orthopedic procedures.
• 9.5XL (23-313-1): an extended bipolar sealer.
• Malleable (23-301-1): a malleable shaft with light.
• Mini EVS 3.4 (23-314-1): an epidural vein sealer for spine procedures.
• Endo DBS 8.7 (23-317-1): a dissecting bipolar sealer.
• MIS Flex (23-321-1): a flexible sealer for minimally invasive approaches.

Ordering tips

All reference numbers in this line start with "23-", followed by the model code, so matching the number on your current box is the quickest way to reorder. Joint replacement programs often standardize on one or two models, while spine teams add the epidural vein sealer.
